Picked this up the other day. 1943 Ljungman

1943 Ljungman. I've always been intrigued with the direct gas impingement system on these. It needs to have some stock work done to it. Someone brushed varnish on it and did a horrible job of it.

I've always wanted a ljungman, could never find a decent sample under a grand.
Let us know how it functions.

    Should be rather reliable.
    Very curious.

I still wish I’d picked one up when they were under $600. Bought three SVT’s instead...

    ....... $600?????

My first centerfire forty years ago was an AG-42B. Brand new, never issued, not a scratch on wood or metal, looked fresh from the factory. Came with equally new tool roll and spares. Price was $85. Good used ones were $65. Dealer had a truckload of 'em.
