I predict I can still reload 50 rounds of 45acp for $2.90. 50 rounds of 9mm for $2.90 as well. The cost of the powder and primer.
I cast the bullets and the brass is range pickup mostly. I like the sale price at wholesale sports for powder and primers back in 2007.

Look around is there someone you can introduce to shooting because thatís the only way we will buck the anti gun trend sweeping Canada! "tigrr 2006"

The way the Sock Puppet and his minions have essentially bankrupted Canada, a year from now when our dollar is worth less than the Mexican peso, we’ll look back and say boy, shoulda bought it back in September 2020.
With Freeland at the helm, we are so f’d.

been looking around this week at some more of the common ammo.
    .223 / 5.56 / 9mm etc.
Pricing is still good. Lots of sales on too.
Trick is... when this current wave of shipments dries up in the next couple months? Will there be more? At similar pricing?

Probably not. Even though the ammo orders were probably made and paid for last year when the dollar was o.k.
The distributors will jack up the prices using the old poor dollar excuse.

Handloading is the cure to all ammo shortages, except rimfire, once fired brass can be salvaged from ranges, stock up on powder and primers when plentiful, buy bullets in bulk and learn to cast, salvage lead. No more worries!

I have more ammo than I know what to do with....but I want to buy more.
Do I need to buy another 1000 rounds of M855? Or 500 rounds of M80? Thinking of getting a couple 100 of 6.5 as well.
I did just buy 250 rounds of .44 mag. - It felt good.
Winter is coming and shooting is slowing down. And with my ARs in quarantine .... round count is way down.

Might as well get some 7.62x39.... I don't have anything to shoot it with. But then again I have a case of .300 Blackout and 50 rounds of .338 Lapua , with nothing to shoot them.

I've had a couple local dealers tell me that they're having issues sourcing stock. Run of the mill 12 ga, 308, and 22 aren't to bad but the selection is thin. I had to visit 3 different stores to get 115, 124, and 147 9mm to test a new gun.

22 is getting tricky. Prices are creeping up and selection is very hit and miss. GunBroker had two 500 round boxes of Thunderbolts going for $ 100 US so the crazy has started again down south.

Hoarding during the times of plenty, and low prices is/was the answer. Though I did have to double up on the floor joists of the gun room.
