Did you use a regular vblock?

I bought a Vee Block from GB, it is marked on One Side " This Side up", and of course when I assembled the barrel and block, I had the whole affair inverted, and I mistook "up" for out. After considering this and thinking the alignment of the block was a little off, I reassembled the block with the "This Side Up"toward the barrel- It seemed to work much better with this arrangement. In my defence, I could not find the manual for the rifle etc online as described in the packaging, until after I started assembly. The manual is up now and does describes the Vee-Block being installed as I did the second time.

Might be better to mark as "This side Out" or "Barrel Side" ( maybe just for me)

    Looks good!

I see that they launched their chassis. Incentive is a $50 web voucher. A bit too pricey for me though at $400.

I have had it assembled for a bit,but never fired it until today. I took it out for ballast on a snowshoe hike.
-What a fantastic little rifle, it handles very well and seems very accurate( I only shot standing).
I put about 40 rounds through without an issue. The charging handle smacked my thumb one time , but I was fanalged into an awkward hold, so understandale. So far I am very satisfied with this rifle.

Standing, unsupported 45m, CCI standard velocity- pretty decent in my opinion.

I see them now as a complete firearm.
Now that almost a year has gone by have you had any issues I need to know about?

I'm seeing some mix reports on them now, mostly griping about the barrel/receiver combo(that doesn't use the ruger vblock setup for barrel retention) not being a drop in fit for 10/22 stocks, but some having legitimate quality issues - poorly cut rifling in a recent cgn thread for example.

I have not shot it alot- There was a recall on the bolt handle-they sent a replacement unit - wrong material - no big deal, they handled it well.
I did shoot it on the bench abit - If I had great results, I would probably be shooting it more, it was OK not fantastic, I don't even recall how good- . I am not a real big fan of the Magpul stock, it is OK but not worth the money in my opinion, I would rather have a boyds, but hard to come by in Canada for a reasonable price. Currently I am shooting my 597 more
