I probably watch a hockey game every 4 or 5 years.
I might end up watching my life's quota during this battle of Alberta.
I hope there is still some room on the Oilers bandwagon.
There is division in my household though.
This morning my sweet 7 year old daughter said
"I hope Connor McDavid gets covid again"

The NHL is as bad as other major sports these days. Who wins or loses depends on ad revenue and betting proceeds.

I was hoping to maybe see about heading into the city to catch a game. Boy, do they sure jack up the prices for the playoffs...
For the price of a pair of tickets I could buy a new TV. So I'm watching the game at home on my fancy new 70 incher.

Toronto is toast - almost all of the rest of Canada is happy.

I was watching the first periods of the toronto games, early start for fishing season so that's all I could stay awake for.
I won't be seeing any of the battle of AB, but I'm guessing markstrom will make the difference and calgary will take it

Colorado and Calgary for the West final, that's been my story all season long so I'm sticking with it. Although Avs/Oilers sounds like pure firewagon hockey, so there's no wrong answer. poor Toronto, they were pretty good but Tampa is still better. Tampa and the Rangers for the east.

watching millionaires play children's games to shill $12 beer for billionaires all seems rather pointless to me, pro sports are biggest waste of time/money outside govt paychecks, that money could educate and feed everyone easily
