Come tax time next year people who received CURB payments will be on the hook for the taxes.
That will be close to 25% of what they received. To a lot of people if not most it will be a big problem.
CRA is ruthless when it comes to collecting.

Yep. The question is, is Turd going to call the CRA attack dogs off his bought and paid for voters, or does he let them have their way with those who wont/cant pay ?

He's kind of painting himself into a corner here. I think his approach is going to be to let the cra start with their terror tactics of seizing bank accounts and suspending drivers licenses, and such. That'll get as many as possible to pay up. Then he's going to come charging to their rescue with a forgiveness plan. Then comes the snap election.

O'Tool would do well to make a peremptive strike and call for tax relief first before Turd does. Its not the conservative way, but its what will pull the rug out from Turd and win the next election

When things get totally FUBAR, the value of one bullet is practically limitless. One bullet = 1 deer = lots of meat.

However, if there are enough people in a given area, barter might be a pain in the a$$, so I would imagine it wouldn't be long before humans resort to some kind of monetary system.
