I quit carrying a 270 because 7 grizzly moved into my neighbourhood. Now I have a 300 win mag. Browning Bar Safari semi auto.
1 round, maybe if there are 2 others with a 460 Weatherby bolt action standing beside me. Any other scenario and life in gods hands come to mind.

If you are hunting for sustenance, eat or die, then stampeding animals over a cliff, or trapping and drowning them underwater, or laming them at an extreme distance and then and tracking for a half day until you can catch up and finish them off, are all good. The rules you follow when you are hungry are the rules you live by, the other are just virtuous guidelines.

Yeah, easy to volunteer others. Anytime I've seen someone suggest it I've asked them to volunteer to test their theory and let natural selection take its course. Like I said, never been in grizzly country, but I sure as hell wouldn't be caught dead without my Mossberg 500 as a backup.

They didn't retract it.
It's still in law.
He just printed a letter that says "thats not what we intended".
So, it is still there to charge you with sometime in the future.
But, they don't intend to right now. But they're not taking it off the books either...Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?
