By liberal math that looks about right at 5%. Math is hard, don't forget liberals are taking reading, riting and rithmatic out of the schools and teaching kids more important things like wokeism, gender studies, climate fear mongering and grooming them

    208% + 77% = 285%
    2% + 8% + 5% = 15%

    1% * 5% = 5%

    5% Exactly

I'm glad to see at least one of us understands how this liberal math works.

Rumour has it 7-8 cents a litre gas price increase here on PEI tonight

    That would make us ~2.10

In case you all aren't aware, Sobeys often has 'Deals' where you buy $200-increment Gift Cards and get 25c/ltr OFF at Shell, Needs stores. Also sometimes (lately) buy $150 groceries and get 20c/ltr off gas. And Shell/Needs gives another 3c for Cash/Debit. I usually get $400 or more in gift cards - gonna eat or Not carin' . . .
I'm posting this 'cause I spoke to 3 diff people this weekend that were NOT aware of this Deal (they were all over 40 )

Gas here at my local gas station is $2.06 a litre for regular 87 unleaded! And I heard on the radio today it will be $2.30 a litre by the end of the summer.

I renewed 100L of my gasoline stash today at Costco for $1.639 Its $1.689 everywhere else. We're still getting that 13 cent per liter "discount" because they arent jamming us for the provincial gas tax as long as oil remains above $100/barrel. Normally, it would be $1.819/liter.

Lucky bastard, I haven't seen gas under $1.70 for almost 3 months now.

It isn't just gasoline prices. My natural gas bill was more than my hydro bill this month.
That's the first time ever that relationship has been inverted.
The last time we occupied a rental with electric heat was 40 yrs ago and the hydro bill in the winter was brutal.
The first thing I've looked for in a dwelling ever since has been gas service. Aluminum wiring is my other bugaboo.
Heat, hot water, laundry and cooking are all gas here. And all copper wiring too.
I converted the clothes dryer and range/oven to gas from electric 18 yrs ago when I bought this house.
Turd-boy is trying to make me regret it, and it must be a really dramatic increase to exceed the Wynn/McGuinty Greenscam electric rates - even allowing for the cool spring we've had - but I'm cushioned by all those years of savings. Just one more reason to list the place and get out of Dodge. The day is coming, just a little sooner now.

Natural gas? You're lucky. Try propane!
