    I am going to bet it is restricted because the revolver frame is a handgun frame, based on the two screws through what looks like a normal revolver grip to hold the stock on. I believe non-restricted guns of these types the "grip" section of the frame is completely different and not capable of a handgun grip being installed, with a screw into the frame through the wood from the butt plate like a pump shotgun stock normally.

    I couldn't imagine the forcing cone blast onto the leading arm from a .500 S&W revolver like this. A .410 revolver shotgun with a "shield" still requires long sleeves to prevent uncomfortably warm peppering of the skin.

    Pretty sure you're right on this being restricted, but there is the Heritage Rough Rider Rancher which should be non-res... if they ever show up
