    6.5 PRC - ARC Nucleus 2.0 w/ 24" PVA M24 Barrel - Manners T4A Stock

So. Been forever. Finally brought my Rifle to the Range.
    Wanted a new scope...procrastinated too long...couldn't decide...blah blah blah
So I took the IOR Terminator off the RPR and mounted it to this one. I mean it's a $3500+ scope (should be good enough?)

I fired a few at 25M to make sure I was on paper. Thankfully it only took 4 shots to get me set up. ( @ $3/round..less is better )
Moved to 100M - Played a little (10 rounds) getting a feel for the Rifle and Trigger.

So with 6 rounds left ( yes I brought more - but as mentioned, one $60 box is good for first time out) - I decided to try 2 groups. That would be 3 shot groups. (6 divided by 2 = 3)

    100M
    MDT CKYE POD
    No Rear Bag
    NOSLER 6.5PRC 140gr Ballistic Tip

I was happy. First 3 were a little low to the left.

Made a couple clicks on the turrets and the next 3 were in the green.
I don't have any fancy programs to measure group size - So Tape Measure it is.
Am I allowed to call this sub-Moa?

I would guess with some barrel break in. Some better support and little more time behind this Rig will close that up easily.

Slick build. Out of curiosity, how heavy does the package come in at?

    Day 2.
Another nice day. And moron me forgot to bring a rear bag again......
Brought 2 boxes of 6.5 PRC - Hornady 147gr ELD Match and Nosler 140gr Ballistic Tip

Went through the Hornady first. Right off the bat it shot 2" high? (My last outing was the box of 140gr Nosler)
    Why? I have no idea.
I wasn't shooting as good with the 147gr ELD compared to my last outing with the Nosler.
Could not get consistent - everything was just over an inch. I thought I made a good shot and it was off .5" to the left....then .75" to the right.
Maybe my Rifle doesn;t like them? (I hope not - I have 15 boxes to go)
One 'Happy' group (shown) from the 147gr ELD Match (yes, 3 shots)

Switched back to the Nosler - I dialed back up 2" - which worked.
Everything just went so much better. Shot placement was consistent. When a shot went off, it was less drastic and I felt it was me making the small errors.
    The ELD Match felt random.

The Nosler was feeling good so I did a 5 shot group. Bummer shot 3 went a little high.

Overall it was a good outing. Getting a good feel for the trigger. Still working on grip positioning - stock has a fancy thumbrest on it.
    Thanks for reading

I don't know how guys can afford to shoot factory ammo.
