    Hunting this year?

    Hunting this year?

I don't hunt but someone asked me if they could hunt my property

Hmmm thinking if you have something you should be sharing it

40 acres in the middle of industrial farm lands, 30 minutes south of Swift Current

Crops are in, so any standing grass is looking good

And I would like to offer a weeks hunting to all GoC members

    2021 Season Dates November 8 – December 3

If you are interested,, tell us a little bit about your best hunt or your worst hunt

    all names into the hat,,,

room for up to 4 guests

    Honor the animal

That’s a great offer Billy, alas, it’s a little outside my hunting area.

Billy i think that is a truly generous offer for you to make, and there are definitely some big fellas roaming the swift current area(used to live there). It really is too far from my regular haunts but i do hope other members take you up on the offer.

Very generous of you, great to see this day and age. Very far out of my area so I can't take you up on that

    It's called pay back

    I landed in Calgary 1977,

the clothes on my back, now

    I have property in Calgary,

a green house and a smaller green house

    some grass in Sask,

    some investments,

    and too many toys,

we spend the first half of our lives accumulating stuff and the last half trying to get rid of it (got rid of a gun recently)

Very true. We waste too much time looking after stuff that we would be better off without.

That’s a heck of a nice offer Billy!
I won’t be applying as I’m fortunate enough to have my own areas, like you I share them with what’s getting to be large group of friends. It started out with one university buddy about 30yrs ago. It has grown into him his 4 kids (usually a friend or two of theirs), a couple other stragglers that he dragged out one year, a retired BIL, and a new guy with his son and FIL.

Lots of good times, lots of meat processing and more good times. Most important though are the lifelong friendships that have formed by opening the doors.

Good luck to everyone who applies!
