Veterinarians and Other Pet Related Stuff

Got some fairly large wallet slippage when I found out the cost of a preliminary estimate to repair our Labrador Retrievers torn ligament. Much to my chagrin, the wife and former sweetheart went and got a second opinion. She was right on the money making that call. The difference between one vet and the second one was $ 1,400.00 for the same initial procedure.

Take the time to get that second opinion.

Big time scam in boutique pet hospitals. My advice, head for the outskirts. Prices generally drop a considerable amount about a half hour outside city limits. Plus if it’s calving season the vet won’t have the energy to dream up any sort of scam….

Ex wife came out here in June to get her dog's teeth pulled.
    I think $600 instead of $1300.
    That's brutal.
    Don't blame me, I didn't vote for that clown. Oct 20, '15

Not teeth cleaning, but up selling almost everything else. New owners where we USED to take our pets for almost 25 years.

Right on the money !! We ended up just north of Stonewall and will be moving our business to there from now on. As for the previous vet. - new owners with an off shore flavor and I will leave it at that.
