I was searching through the Soviet Bloc Rifle area and the only pic thread for SKS was not updated since summer 2012. So I thought I'd start the "Official SKS Pic thread" Here are two of mine.
Up first my 1952 Tula SKS with my authentic 1967 ChiCom SKS Chest bandolier- holds 220 rounds of 7.62x39mm on stripper clips..."The Viet Cong special"
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
My next one a 1954 Tula SKS, modified with a TAPCO stock, 5/20 mags, CAA cheek riser and butt pad, scout mount rear sight mount and a 4 Retical R/G D4B. Accurate, hard hitting and in my opinion not "too much" done to it.
It still remains relatively light.
Hopefully this thread will get a "sticky" and we will see what everyone else has been doing with the SKS.
Cheers
