2020 was kinda shit for me. I thought, 2021 will be better. It wasn't quite as crappy, but not a ton better either. Here we are, not even 2 full months into the new year and 2022 is saying 'hold my whole f-ing CASE off beer and watch this'.

The new neighbor's moved in last spring I believe it was. The lady is from Ukraine (2nd marriage). Her 19 year old son (they moved here when he was 14 I believe) hated Canada...can't stand Canada....I want to go back to Ukraine. Apparently he's a bit of a washout at life and just wants to play video games and party all the time. He tried to move back once, and got refused at the airport for some reason. A month later, after claiming he was brought here when he was under age against his will, he managed to convince whatever powers that be to let him go back over there. The husband (Canadian guys) told me he's living with his grandmother and partied for a week solid when he got back over there. I think that was around October or November. The husband told me he's in for a hell of a surprise when he finds out that military service is mandatory there. Apparently the kid's master plan was to just try and fly under the radar forever and party all the time. Guess what sonny...the shit just got real.

I figure it's going to end one of 3 ways. He turns tail and tries to head back here under some kind of "but I'm a Canadian" excuse. He's going to come back here in a few years, a man..or 3rd..he's going to come back here in a box. Their house is lit up like a Christmas tree tonight. I'm guessing they're not going to get much sleep.
