No. The judicial and law making systems of BRIC nations are authoritarian and geared to maintain the state's vision, the only freedom is what the state allows/mandates. All these nations have natural resources in abundance but so does Africa and it's a S... H... You can oppress people and project a false picture of stability, safety, health and wealth but eventually the undercurrent of dissatisfaction will surface to begin the downhill slide from within.

The BRICS will/are accelerating the wests downfall but they're replacing the US/West with China/Russia. The even/equal playing field they envision will only last until the natural hierarchy establishes itself. You can't fight nature, you can but you will not win. Jordan Peterson can explain it much better than I can but any system that begins with everyone as equals will only last until the natural hierarchy is establishes and I am guessing with the BRICS it will be China. As bad, corrupt and dysfunctional as the US/West have become, the BRICS countries are no better and are even worse in some areas. We'll be replacing bad with worse.

It doesn't seem that we're planning to be joining BRICS any time soon or that an invite to the club was issued, so replacing what we have with BRICS membership is not in the cards for us.

As for replacing "they hate us for our freedoms" slogan with Peterson's elaborately arrogant "they'll fail, because only we know how to freedom while everybody else is so stupid and inferior they just fight human nature"...

It does make me feel so good to hear that I and we are very special, exceptional, unique and entitled, I just want to stand up and applaud the idea and give him my money to repeat it. Very pleasant. Meanwhile we're admitting own downfall... contradictory.

Maybe it's more like a table being stable... it's fighting nature's gravity, and it can balance itself on one leg or four.
