My TVM Tennessee is Finally Done…..

A few months late but I guess in this business it is to be expected. Looks pretty sharp to me anyways but we fly back to BC tomorrow morning and had to delay shipping until the 28th.

Your basic flinter, Siler Deluxe Lock, double set triggers, .54 Criterion barrel, aged steel finish set in a chunk of basic walnut.

Yes, I did put a sling swivel and button on the damn thing lol…….

You know, I've never fired a muzzle loader, much less a flintlock
I do love seeing them go CLACK BANG though

Gee, for all the money you saved going with that "basic walnut" you'd think there'd be funds left over for a red dot lol.

Very nice looking lumber on that!

    Very nice!
Is that a 38-inch barrel? And your walnut looks like maple to me. Beautiful gun!

I had the OTHER TVM (Jack Garner) build me a .54 cal, 1" x 42" Tennessee in 1991, and sold it in a fit of madness a few years back. It was super accurate but heavy!
I presently have an order in (Since a year ago) for a .45 cal Southern Rifle, 42" barrel, extra fancy maple from TVM. Actually, Matt Avance was still apprenticing with Jack Garner and helped build my earlier rifle.
I'm hoping to see the new rifle in maybe another 6 months. If it looks half as good as yours I'll be happy!
