Military Hardware in the Aftermath of the Ukraine War

I predicted here that we're going to start seeing military eBikes: https://www.gunownersofcanada.ca/sho...l=1#post957157

I have a lot of other predictions I'd like to share.

One I was thinking of was man portable signals direction finding and jamming devices (to counter the threat of drones)

Can anyone think of any others?

My prediction: large amounts of the Western donations of hardware (guns, ammo, etc) on the black market.

One interesting development is the clear need for "Combat coding."

In particular consider the vast amount of data a commander has to process, in particular with advanced battlefield command and control systems.

I worked on the command and control systems used by the USMC, British, and Canadian forces 17 years ago - but the volume of data that is being generated by things such as drones, vehicles, and anything with a fire control and targeting system is going to be utterly massive compared to what we were building.

There is going to be a massive need for technical operators who can rapidly parse, process and contextualize all that data.

A simplistic way to look at it would be the need to be able to write VBA macros in Excel which, depending on the dataset - can be quite advanced - which means military HQ's are going to need operators who can not just transmit, receive and record traffic (i.e. - Signals Operators) - they're going to need Cyber Operators who can derive meaningful intelligence from the vast amounts of data being collected on the battlefield.

5G network, plus fleet tracking with location and direction of every thing that goes bang - from your own artillery, to each ATGM and rifle. Add on top a self learning neural network that has artillery radar data, and your group of soldiers that are huddled together too tight can get a ten second warning to spread out with a countdown to impact instead of hearing a shell coming in... through augmented reality glasses. It's faster than humans doing parabolic calculations.

Not much new for Russia and the US will be retooling to improve all the defects they found in their existing inventory !!
Nothing will F--k you up as much as the realization that there's no real reason the alphabet needs to be in order !!
