Gevarm E1: First Rounds Down Range...

Well, I decided to keep the Gevarm I inherited. I cleaned it up the other day and inspected it. Took it out to my acreage and slung a hundred rounds or so at some paper gophers. One failure to eject near the tail end of my session was the only hiccup.

My range was limited due to snow in the yard, but at 35 yards I was getting single hole 3-shot groups.

I would say I am more than impressed with this little rig.

Gophers beware, I'm coming for you...

Congrats, good for you for hanging on to it. Sounds nicely accurate.

My father in law has a semi-auto Gevarm 22. Nice rifle. One unique thing is if the trigger bolt latch gets dirty, you get a full auto runaway!

Yea I know. I almost sold it to buy a Marlin 795 instead because of that. Then I found YouTube has a few good videos on just how easy they are to take apart and clean and hone the required pieces.

It is about the easiest rifle to "accidentally" turn full auto. If only there were any decent sized clips to be had any more...

So with a couple hundred rounds fired now, I really am having a hard time falling in love with this gun... It shoots fine, it just doesn't connect with me... Anybody else have a similar experience where a perfectly fine gun just felt so blah?

My previous offer on the gun still stands if you decide to sell it.

Yep, trying hard to love my M&P9, but it hasn't happened so far; I bought her fancy trinkets, lots to eat, gentle baths, but she's just not sending me that spark...^sounds like you can send your Gevarm to a new loving home if you wish...
