I inherited an old Gevarm E1 Takedown. From what I've read there are safety concerns that lead me to want to replace it with something new.
Is there a market for this rifle that would return enough cake to buy a good replacement?

I don't have any idea what they would be worth... but I have played with one many years ago. Open bolt semi-auto if I remember correctly.
Yes JustBen, exactly. And from what I hear they have a tendency to go fully auto. I don't know how much I want my wife to handle it.

I did some digging, and apparently TradeEx brought some E1 take downs to the market in 2011. They sold for $329 at the time. If I had one in reasonably good shape, I wouldn't hesitate to start at $300 plus the cost of shipping.
Thanks Ben! Gives me an idea on where to start from...

Hi I think I may be interested in purchasing this if you’re going to market, as they say.
I am Interested as to what safety concerns there would be. Still, I’d love to see some pictures. Cheers!
