    Response to Leslyn Lewis

The following was sent today, in response to Leslyn’s email about Trudeau’s interference in the RCMP investigation of the Nova Scotia Massacre.

All of the virtue signalling over the killings in Nova Scotia has overshadowed the one thing that most needs to be understood.

Those killings proved what Polytechnic and so many others have.

Proved that, “You don’t need a gun, you have police to protect you,” is a filthy lie!

Canadians are prevented from carrying sidearms for protection of life by the requirement in sections 20 and 28 of the Firearms Act to demonstrate that they “need” the sidearm for protection.

    That ought not to be!

Realistically, the definition of “need,” in this instance, gos something like this:

If the applicant has sufficient political or economic clout to override the bureaucratic imperative to “Just Say No” (I expect that you thought that was only a cute phrase used in the “War On Drugs”) the applicant has demonstrated sufficient “need.”

It is how “need” is defined in every nation on earth that doesn’t recognize, respect, and protect the inherent right of the individual to go armed for protection of the lives of those he loves.

As a Christian, you may recall that we are commanded to love our neighbours as we love ourselves (Mark 12:31).

It is a failure in love, for us to allow our neighbour to be denied the tools with which to safeguard his loved ones.

Not only must the requirement to demonstrate “need” be removed, every law/regulation that interferes with your ability to go armed must be repealed!

Addressing the cupidity of the Prime Minister, the Keystone Cops like behaviour of the RCMP, how the killer obtained his weapons, and the general incompetence of the current inquiry is all just useless virtue signalling until the primary issue is resolved.

If you are attacked, no one is coming, you are on your own!

    Thanks

Gun Control is about making it unlawful for you to use, carry, or possess a firearm.

All restrictions/prohibitions on the use, carriage, or possession of firearms must be repealed.

    Middle ground?

    What middle ground?

I have a feeling that with the roe v wade bs she is not going to have time for any real discussions as she will be relentlessly attacked for being against abortions.

If asked, I would recommend that she adopt the order in which the Supreme Court handled the two decisions.

First, she should push the right to go armed for protection of life.

Then, she should push her position on abortion.

The right to life, followed by the right to life!

Leslyn Lewis is pretty much a write off at this point , and her only real function will be to divide the vote against PP in the leadership race , and push them towards Charest or Brown on a second ballet . It is what it is .

Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance upon them.” ; Ezekiel 25:17

Perhaps you noticed the absence of her email.

The point is not that she is best or worst in the leadership race.

The point is how one should be responding to the virtue signalling by politicians of all stripes, amazing how different it looks from each faction, and how they are missing the point entirely.

    In Nova Scotia, 22 died.

One, while carrying an issue sidearm.

The remainder, without any means to successfully defend their lives.

While it demonstrates that police cannot protect you, sometimes they cannot even protect themselves, we have seen one story of a gentleman with a shotgun who successfully defended himself, and his loved ones, without firing a shot.

Canadians need to recognize that individuals around the world have an inherent right to go armed for protection of life, the same inherent right that the United States Supreme Court just ruled that their citizens enjoy.

Recognition is the first step in ending the civil disarmament agenda.

The second step is to recognize that the civil disarmament agenda exists throughout the world, including in the United States.
