Under the glow of the Sturgeon Full Moon, I climbed the branches of Yggdrasil to harvest what was needed to bring to life the stock for Mjöllnir. It shall be blessed by The Gods Themselves as the vessel for which this immortal tool will be contained.

Has great potential - can't wait to see the finished product - good luck !!
Nothing will F--k you up as much as the realization that there's no real reason the alphabet needs to be in order !!

Bad news folks. The 6.5X55 barrels were not chambered properly and so the finish reamer will not cut out the excess metal. The barrels have gone out to the machinist to tidy them up before I can continue. First time for everything I guess. In the meantime, other parts are on their way here. It will be glorious in the end.

Well good folks of the realm, this whole adventure had some unexpected twists but we have persevered. With those jackboot thugs wanting to take it away I was questioning my loyalty to myself. A couple of Strongbow Gold ciders and it hit me like a bolt of lightning. No need for pictures, f*ck the powers that be and have at it Robbie! Parts were picked out and a midnight build was upon me. The barrel had its chamber issue resolved at Vulcan Gun Refinishing, it showed up here soon thereafter and whispered the song of our people in my ears. With delft speed that would make even Arne proud, my own personal Mjöllnir was born. This weekend coming I shall be at the range tuning the Shuster gas plug to make my hammer of the gods the most wonderous beast of all. With a feast of handloaded 6.5 sweetness ( a gift from a great guy in Alberta) the hills will rock. I have found my old Nikon and here are the first photos it has taken in a very long time.

It will have it's handmade sling coming near the end of January. Some may think pricey but J. Berlin slings works with you to get pretty much just what you need. https://www.jberlinslings.com/home.

Sorry that the photos suck. It was cold in my unheated hovel of a garage and with frozen fluorescents shivering so was I.
