    I hate politicians.
They know the tool does not matter but the people fear firearms so its an easy sell they just pick the low hanging fruit gun owners as they follow the rules. if they cared about canadians they would address fentanyl deaths opioids at 7362 deaths a year if it was not about about being trendy and legacy building they would address the almost 300 canadians a year that die from nutritional deficiencies almost the exact same as die by firearms in canada a year. so its not about saving lives never was.

Everyone praises and uses the UK as the model for banning firearms but they have shootings often and their cops do not carry and only special cops can carry a taser BUT every weekend multiple stabbings even soldiers hacked apart in full view broad daylight in the middle of the street with machetties people are stomped to death on the weekends gangs rule the streets so much so they are actually looking into banning knives now where do you go from there? forks? baseball bats? cars? bottles? its endless. Time to stop blaming the tool and address the mental health issues. you do not blame the hammer when a carpenter builds a crap house right? but thats not politician logic lol
