Shoot for the Cure - (Winnipeg area)

There’s a charity trap shoot on this Sunday, sept 18, at the Winnipeg Trap & Skeet club.

    Details re-posted from Facebook below

Shoot for the Cure - Sunday September 18, 2022

The Manitoba Sporting Clays Association will be hosting the annual Shoot for the Cure this Sunday.

    Start Time: 1:00pm

    Target Count: 50-singles, 50-doubles

Cost: $100 (Tax Receipt for Cancer Care Donation will be offered)

    Junior Cost: $50

    Additional Meals: $15 each

Drinks: Pop and Water will be available at the canteen.

Options from your personal cooler will vary on your own choices, but please respect that we take safety very seriously around the range and you will understand when you break the seal the guns go back in the case.

We will run 3 trap fields for Singles, and 1 field for doubles.

Skeet and International Trap and Skeet will be available to all shooters registered for the 100-target event on a DONATION BASIS. There will be a donation box to accept these funds, please plan to support.

In addition, the WTSC and MTA are helping make this a great success in Harry’s honour, and we all look forward to that goal.

There will be some prizes, WTSC is hard at work on this. If you are so generous to be able to make something available, please bring it with you and see Lorne Ross with that on your way through registration.

The WTSC has ample 12ga ammunition available for sale but will only have limited 20ga on hand. Please plan accordingly.

The response to this opportunity Sunday has been fantastic from a lot of people, thank you again, it’s fantastic to see our community come together on something like this.

The club will be open at 10:30am Sunday, come and make some time to either shoot a little practice or just share some time outside with your friends.
