    Trijjicon & Dawson Precision Stuff…..

May just become a Trijjicon fan, second set of sights now. The tritium sights on the 43 glow very nicely and fit perfectly and now the RMR in the 6.5 MOA configuration. One thing to note, the screws supplied with the RMR are too long for the mos plate configuration and the hardened steel is proper, it took a lot of grunt with my Milwaukee strippers, you will not cut them with your average strippers, the hinged base on the Milwaukee’s is thick and stout.

Upon further snooping I did buy Trijjicon’s sealing plate kit for $14 and it has the proper screw length. While doing said snooping, I discovered Dawson Precision. Found my co-witness tritium irons there, cut for the RMR specifically and a bunch of other stuff of use. Prophet River or someone like Clay’s operation could probably get stuff if wanted

Pretty impressed with the light so far, one click = on, 2 clicks = strobe or push and hold then release to go off. Practised today at length with light on double taps and then light off. Going to take some more repetition to get it second nature, used a 12 x 12 tinfoil square to show the light in daylight.

That 6.5MOA is one honey of a combination, I’m in hog heaven. Just need the Dawson Precision tall co-witness tritium irons to arrive…..

Dawson stuff showed up on the eve of our departure back up to B.C. so no installed shots. At this time quite happy, beefy sights, very bright in the dark, need to do a side by side compare with the Trijjicons on the 43. Nice touch providing the drift and front sight tool, have all that already but they are nicely made and a sign of a company who cares. The height is for co-witness with the RMR, we shall see but a firm that lists different sight heights for different red dots, probably has their stuff together....

Took over a week to ship, was just starting to get grumpy and then seen the order fulfilled. Small shop and all, perhaps I need to realize not everyone is Midway or Amazon..........

glock rear sights are just friction fit? The 34 I have has cowitness sights already installed by the previous owner, but I noticed that my rear sight is trying to leave the dovetail
the wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

Yes Sir, found with XS sights, one generally has to dimple the underside a bit or some locktite with ones that still move but are tighter. Then there is the infamous beer can shim.............

Excuse the horrific pic quality, the Dawson Co-Witness irons are amazing. Full range report this coming Thursday…….
