Hi,

I can no longer log in with with Chrome; and I have select "unsecure" before it will open in explorer. I have cleared cache and cookies; no change.

Thanks,

Mark

I also can no longer post pictures (screen shots) of the error messages. I get "certificate error" when I try.

Me too. GOC’s certificate expires today at 7:59PM

Not secure - notice when opening log in to GOC

Not secure - notice when opening log in to GOC

just had a not secure notice displayed on my refresh of "What's New at GOC"
seems to stem from a invalid certificate

and in an attempt to post the above

This server could not prove that it is www.gunownersofcanada.ca; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

Yeah there’s nothing to panic about folks. It’s just a good old fashioned expired certificate. If you to the “temporarily add exception” or similar you’ll be fine.

it is just annoying to have to click advanced every time you post or switch threads

Sort of... Back to very slow loading; but I can post.

Yesterday, 1 out of 20 clicks was slow. Instead of being faster than 2 seconds per click, it was 20 seconds on the slow spots.
Everything still works thought.

The past half hour everything (20 out of 20 clicks) is a bit slower than it's been throughout the past several weeks of great performance.
But it's nothing like the badness that was December.
Everything still works though.

There are currently 419 users online. 14 members and 405 guests
humor: I blame the guests.

I haven't cleared my cache yet. I have a half dozen articles I'm half finished reading, and real-life keeping me from them.

I'm experiencing the loading issues now too and this on a brand new device I got in the mail this afternoon so no cache/cookies to clear.

Cache cleared.
20 seconds average response for many clicks.
3 out of 14 of the forum sponsor icons at the top are visible {DoubleTap, Tactical Capital Corp, SFRC}.

It's not the forum,

to quickly get this worked out with the certs we turned back on cloudflare.

Cloudflare recently changed their settings and it is slowing down the site.

I'm working with our host and cloudflare to get it fixed.

I just refreshed my cache and yeah, most of the banners for the stores at the top are no longer working.

Response time is pretty good at the moment. (Firefox)
(e.g. opened multiple threads in under 2 seconds each, posted this post in under 2 seconds, and edited it right away)

Banner at the top is still 3 out of 14 of the forum sponsor icons.

That's what I see in Edge on Win 10 (desktop and mobile) too Mark. Works fine in FF.

Having cleared all the usual suspects, the site is still wonky since the certificate expiration. Slow to respond to posts and less than half the site sponsor banners at the top of the page will load.

As this seems to be an issue that is being worked on and not just me or my antiquated laptop, I will leave it in your capable hands.

Posted again for the people that keep posting stuff about issues without reading my post.

Is everything back to normal?

I can never see the issues you guys see

All is well.
Good speed. (1 or 2 seconds per click)
Everything seems to work. (even edit)
Advertising banner at the top has all sponsors.
