How or why is this thread still a discussion?

I just read through most of it. I don't know why it's still a discussion, but I believe the OP wanted you to be the President of his Gun Owners Party, which is a non-political Party that doesn't talk about guns... even though it has the word GUN right in its' name. He can't run for the position himself, because of some run-ins with the law.

Oh, he also appears to need you to call some favors at the RCMP and get him the list of all the PAL holders in the country, with their names and addresses. At least that's what I understood from the previous posts.

Are you really so dry of imagination? Of confidence? Do you really want someone else to hold your hand so badly? Do you prefer to trust BLINDLY someone else to do the job for you? A young career politician who has taken the jab, did not support the truckers, does not even mention the "private property" word in Parliament, does not own guns etc. This is your messiah? This guy is going to save your guns? WOW!

All you can do is berate and laugh. I remember lots of people laughing back in 2020 when someone said that we will be forced to take the jab, that we will not be able to board airplanes or leave the country without it, that we will have to register as vaccinated (arivecan) with the government, that the government will monitor free speech on the internet, that the truckers will have the balls to do anything, that Turdo will bring in the Emergencies act in order to deal with them, that the Government will freeze bank accounts of unconvicted citizens bypassing the court system, that the Turd will just ban guns because he can (OIC and handgun freeze/ban), that Australia "Shit" party will be defeated, that the Nederland farmers will make a party and win a majority just 4 years later, that the US will ban their most prolific rifle the AR15 completely disregarding the 2A and their constitution,that someone will blow up the pipelines to Europe...I can go on and on.

If anything these last 2-3 years have shown us that anything is possible and it is foolish to make quick judgments and be quick to belittle someone that has a different opinion, if we want to fight the machine that is against us we need to think "outside the box". Have more plans, and exit strategies. What would you do if the young career politician does not do what you hoped? Does not reverse the OIC or lift the handgun ban? Wait for another 4 years? Who would you trust next? Is there such a person even? Dancho? Who? Please entertain me. Let's talk about "what if " strategies. Do you have one or all you can do is shyte on the person that is trying to come up with something...

I understand your sentiment, trust me that I do... but the answer is still YES.

YES, because he's still the ONLY REALISTIC CHOICE. Gun owners are less than 10% of the voting block and the other 90+% would rather you not have any guns.

If you're gonna change that and un-wash millions of brains who were bred for decades on Lieberal anti-gun propaganda, you need to do it slowly and carefully. Whoever promises you an instant solution is a grifter and a snake oil salesman, a la Max "Zero Seats" Bernier.


Baby steps. Poilievre is our first few steps in the right direction, nothing more and nothing less.

I respect your opinion and I believe you but I am still not hearing your exit strategy...Can you make it clear to me: Were those "baby steps" started 30 years ago when bill C-68 stepped in or they started recently? Because with this tempo it will be another 30 years before something is achieved...I don't know if I am going to be around that long, or by that age, I wouldn't care anymore.
