This is the batch I ran on the silicone pad with the small holes. It came out pretty good. The pad smokes a lot though. I hope its just that its new.

Almost forgot. I lined the plastic container I shake the bullets in with clear plastic gift wrap. It by itself didnt help much. What did was grabbing the bullets with foreceps and waving them up and down the plastic wrap on the side of the container and then dropping them in the powder. Then Id pick them up and give them a little tap to shake off the excess before putting them in the silicone tray for baking. The second batch is in the oven now in the ice cube tray. I intentionally left some tipped against the side of their cells to see if it has much of an effect on the baking process.

Last update for tonight. Leaning them against the cell wall does leave an impression in the powder coat.

Im having grief getting powder to stick to the bullets. Even the Princess Auto stuff is fighting me today. Ive tried cleaning the bullets in acetone, rubbing the container with cellophane, heating the bullets, shaking different ways, cleaned the container. Its just a 5 star fight today. Im just about to go and grab one of the long haired cats and trying to rub the container on it !!!! Arrrgh !!!

Ok. It started to stick. Dusting powder down on top of them and then picking them up with foreceps and tapping off the excess worked. Way too slow though. Ive got the infamous Eastwood Ford light blue powder on order from KMS. Apparently that works for most people. Im also going to try a #5 margarine container next.

577 cast, powder coated, sized, and ready to load. There's still a couple hundred in the garage that need coating and sizing but I'll go with these for now. More than enough to do a load development with 2 different powders.

Edit: Now 768 done. Still more to coat out in the garage, but I'm toast. I'll finish them off tomorrow.
