Anyway, looks like a tough crowd in here, lol. I find it interesting how many folks assume the government lies to them constantly about things like gun control, inflation, experimental injections, climate change, corruption and wars... but the same folks also assume that everything their government is telling them about what's up in the sky is 100% legit and cannot be questioned.

A frigging flying disk could land in their back yard with an Alien coming out to make first contact and those folks would still gladly call it swamp gas, because their government said so. Now that's akin to a RELIGION and dogma, in my book!

As Spock in TOS would put it : "Fascinating."

Kind of like what the USAF, FBI, CIA, etc. did with UFO sightings from 1947 onward : everything was either a weather balloon, swamp gas or Jupiter reflecting sunlight in the sky. Everyone who reported unusual activity in the sky was either a drunk or a crazy person seeking attention...

...up until a few years, where they admitted to Congress that the UAP phenomenon is real and that they have no goddamn clue what's been occupying American air space, as well as the oceans where these UAPs often come out of or disappear into.

At the end of the day it's not a conspiracy theory, just a fun thought experiment of the "what if" kind...

A crazy person seeking attention EH? Hmm!

I'm pretty sure everyone can see this side of the moon with a telescope or a good camera.

Trusting the government is not currently required for that. Although when sky advertising becomes a thing, the moon may be occluded.

For the far side, there are images published by USA/NASA, Russia (the first pictures with Luna-3 I think), China (even sent a rover), etc.

That's what I thought too, till I asked someone who's into astronomy and who's an expert in optical telescopes.

I asked them why the lunar landing is such a conspiracy theory, when essentially anyone on Earth with a big enough telescope should be able to see the landing site. The reply was technical, but the essence that it was NOT possible to see the Apollo landing site from Earth with our telescopes, because the resolution would be nowhere near what's needed. This includes the biggest telescopes we have in our observatories.

If you want to see the landing site or other high resolution features on the Moon, you'd need to be in orbit of the Moon, looking straight down with your telescope. From Earth, you can only see the biggest objects and craters on the Moon, but you will never be able to see any of details on the scales that are needed.

For context, the distance to the Moon is 386,400 kilometers.

The problem with those images is that, as the conspiracy theory suggests, they are being actively doctored and the pertinent details are being airbrushed out... as not to frighten the sheeple with the thought of threatening space boogeymen monitoring humanity.

The video in the OP touches upon that aspect, in a few places. Like I said, it's a cool thought experiment!

So, multi national, decades long, conspiracy?

NASA Moon-landing conspiracy—The successful 1969 Apollo 11 mission first put men on the moon, a seminal achievement in human history. Yet even since that historic day, there has been a persistent fringe belief group that strongly believe the moon-landings were faked, mocked up for propaganda purposes. In 2013 it was estimated that 7% of Americans subscribe to this view [15]. Those advocating this conspiracy claim there are inconsistencies in pictures taken on the moon’s surface, despite these claims being comprehensively debunked [16].

In the case of the NASA hoax conjecture, it could be argued that the conspiracy was a single-event fiction, and thus the Gompertzian population form in Eq 5 could apply. This is not a very realistic assumption, but is considered here too

And, before you move the Aliens underneath the surface…

    https://skeptoid.com/episodes/4776

    The Engineered Moon Conspiracy

Poe's Law can be roughly paraphrased as there are some views so extreme that they cannot reliably be distinguished from parody, and the claim that the Moon is a hollow alien construction perfectly illustrates the need for such a law. World famous conspiracy theorists such as David Icke have promoted this claim as fact, and fringe websites today continue to publish articles that assign it the unearned status Hollow Moon Theory.

Don't forget the earth is flat so the pictures taken from the noon must be fake because they show the earth as a ball, like the moon... As an American once said to a German, NUTS!

The moon landing happened during the rivalry of the cold war, if there had been any fakery at all, the Russian would have made sure the world knew it.

The Moon landing happened, no doubt about that. The fact that NASA never went back to land on the Moon after the initial Apollo missions and neither did any other nation is questionable. Some say that humanity was told to stay the f**k off the Moon because it's occupied, others say that the money for future missions ran out...

As for the Moon being hollow (or at least very cavernous), NASA still hasn't fully explained why their seismographs rang for HOURS on end, after they purposely crashed boosters into the surface to test. The Hollow Moon theory was apparently announced by their own scientists after these experiments, as nothing else than huge voids under the surface made sense.

Finally, our Moon is unnaturally large and spherical for a planet the size of Earth. No other observable planet in the solar system or beyond has a moon (satellite) the size of ours. Moons are typically much smaller and look like a deformed potato made of various space debris, not a perfect and uniform sphere that's 1/4 the size of its' parent planet. Earth's Moon simply looks "unnatural" to astronomers, as no other planetary moon we know of compares to it.

Anyway, don't get your holy establishment belief panties in a knot guys. "They" apparently lie to you about everything, EXCEPT for what's up in space... and those weird & incredibly fast craft intercepting our planes in the sky since WWI and WWII, eh?

It's just a fun thought experiment... that's all!

Nice Wikipedia quote. Definitely legit and not redacted to fit a certain narrative at all...

Anyway, rumor has it that if the truth came out, people like you would not be able to handle it. If you dare to dig deeper, the news is apparently not good and humanity definitely has the very short end of the stick on that one. Think cattle in a pen, being at their master's mercy and subjected to his ultimate agenda.

To most, ignorance is bliss... and it's probably for the best.

    Carry on.
