    2023 Trap Season

How is the winter shooting going for you jerks who shoot over the winter?
My club will remain buried in snow for months yet...

I did get some exciting news on the trap front:
Ricky Marshall jr. is coming to do a clinic this summer.
I called over the day after I heard about it, and got my name down for slot 9 out of 10. (Glad I didn't procrastinate)
Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?

Well hell man, I'll teach you how to shoot for nothin!

I'll start watching youtube vids now and by the time it's warm enough to get outside I will be a veritable professional!!

One quick question, what does trap mean?
Do we catch an animal and then blast it?

Anyway, we can cross that bridge later ... just say the word!

Our club is still closed and will be until spring. Minus 27 feels like minus 34 outside right now so I’m fine hibernating for a few months more

Great news to have a big name like that come hold a clinic. Taking a Nora Ross clinic is on my bucket list!
In spite of all of man's grandiose achievements, he owes his continued existence to six inches of topsoil and the fact that it rains.

We are shooting every other week. I did find out something about myself two weeks ago. The concrete was covered in thin ice without any salt. I have a more forward stance and I needed to put more concentration on the footing and stay upright. Since I was concentrating on my footing, I was not thinking about the birds. Ended with a 25. I was not thinking about the birds at all. Point and shoot. This does prove that I am my own worst enemy when I get into my own head.

I would jump at the chance to have a class from someone with that resume. You can always learn more and learn how to apply the knowledge efficiently.
