So have been in Canada since 2003 around KW area, just about to make the move to Nova Scotia and get with nature, living as off grid as possible so got my PAL and now I'm just learning as much as I can.
Yes we do have guns back in blighty but you're either at a club, wear silly looking tweed hats and coats, shoot clay all over the place or in a gang... 95% of us were none of that. But here, well its a way of life for a lot of people and living in the city all this time I never really thought of it but life and liberals got in the way so off to Nova Scotia we go and so excited to start a new lifestyle away from the 15 minute hellholes.

Welcome aboard sir. We are allowed to own guns, and go out in the bush and shoot them in addition to on shooting ranges and stuff. That said, on behalf of all Canadian gun owners, and common sense in general, I apologize for how screwy our laws are.

Nova Scotia isn't the best place to move to if you want to actually shoot your guns. *REALLY* look into the rule in NS before the gun leaves the house
New Brunswick would be 100% better
