I've been having some troubling thoughts lately

Strange, it was an honest-to-God +7 on Wednesday, and my thermometer said the same yesterday. Maybe not as warm in Wpg??? Usually we aren't that far off.

Here on Wednesday it was a tropical -1. But you people out there in P.LA.P. are truly blessed.

It is snowing here at the moment, we have a forecasted 10 cm of snow coming down tonight. Started out as ice pellets and it was -9 Cel here lastnight too.

I hit the same wall when I turned 50. I used to look forward to coming home from work so that I could get work done around here. It's age. You want less complications in your life. I'm sitting here looking at all the hobby stuff I should sell because I haven't touched in in years. I now find myself planning more for the future. I just blew $500 on 3 x 6 foot raised garden beds. I wanted the 2 ft high ones because they require less bending over than 1 ft high ones. I really wanted the 4x8 ones, but decided weeding is going to be easier if I only have to reach over 3 feet instead of 4 ft. I'm not selling my ham radio gear that hasn't been used much because I know I can still do that when I'm 80. I need to put new shingles on the roof this summer. 10 years ago, I'd have already had them in the driveway, waiting for slightly warmer weather. Now I'm contemplating having someone do them for me. Getting older sucks.

I licensed the motorcycle today and went for a short ride. A bit early as there is lots of sand and gravel on the roads still. It was good for the mental health though.
