Yep, that 7.62x54r round is quite a thumper. It will beat a 12" plate around like a toy. Even at 100 yds.

I had one. By the time I took it apart to clean the cosmoline out, and put it back together, I didn't feel like dirtying it again.
So I traded it away never having fired a shot from it.Why does the rest of the country get first dibbs on half my income?
