An ongoing mantra of the left is that everyone is a victim, with a singular carve-out for white men. A large group of the female population has embraced this chant.

While there may be a number of grievances put forth by this movement, there also comes a theme that is particularly dangerous: the feminist attack on masculinity. This is derived not only from feminists; it comes from the left in general.

There has emerged a war on masculinity. Why? Because masculine men are harder to control under tyrannical socialism. The modern beta male, on the other hand, craves socialism. This is why the left has branded masculinity as toxic: it stands as a roadblock to their endgame.

What is masculinity?

Before we try to become something, we have to know what we’re trying to become. This means we have to define “masculinity”. It’s easy to say that masculinity is one of those things that you know when you see it, but that leaves us with a big problem:

That makes it easy for anyone to change the definition to suit their narrative or message.

Men who aren’t willing to do what it takes to become masculine will bend the definition to include things that are antithetical to becoming a man but because they do it AND they still want to be considered masculine, they argue for it.

Have you ever wondered how the issue of transexual behavior and transgenderism became so visible, so quickly over the last few years? Less than a decade ago, it would have been laughable to imagine that a man who declared himself a woman could compete against other women as a woman in athletics. It would have been laughable to imagine that the first woman four-star admiral is actually a man. It would have been laughable to imagine that Bruce Jenner was A) going to become ‘Caitlyn’ one day and B) would win Glamour‘s Woman of the Year immediately after posing in lingerie on the cover of Vanity Fair.

I know many a person who was born male, grew up male, became masculine, married women, raised or raising kids, go to church, are conservative, are against LGBTQ, shoot guns... and according to that list could never be a man: they couldn't meet 4 out of 9 of that list at best. Humility, relationships, honesty, responsibility, vision and courage often fail in that order.

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyse a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
