That is our issue with Bell, and it has been for some time. They arbitrarily raise the rate without notice.

Try "electronic box", the price has remained the same for 8 yrs & it is the best out there. No contract at all.

the user interface and information is dramatically better on Shaw satellite. Film ratings, PVR use, some of the info/play features, etc…

Installing Starlink at deer camp now. No other choice. An American tech business solved our connective problem where no Canadian company could. Boo Canada.

I spent some time with the folks from Valley Fiber (HQ in Winkler) recently. I was impressed, seems like a good choice for Manitobans where available.

Recently I gave up on Telus for my internet: I was on their "Internet 6", which I was told was high speed when I first got it. But at least once a year I had to get a techie out to fix it, because it was dropping the connection all the time.

The last Telus guy who fixed it told me that almost everyone who lives close to the railroad tracks has this problem, and he said he's advising people to switch to Mascon (owned by Telus), and their cable internet service. Which I did, and for the same money, I'm now getting close to 60Mbps instead of 6.

I'd thought that anything that used coaxial cable was dated technology and not worth considering, but I was very wrong. My games play better, and downloads for games or movies are finished in minutes as opposed to hours.
