Steel cased ammo . whats it good for?

not always the best choice , but it has some redeeming features. mine is finding it in the snow with my pen magnet .(range rules-nothing to be left on ground) what do you have?

    Cheap shooting?
...I suppose you could get something from the recycling depot for it....could you melt it down? How about art? I saw a cabin built of .22 shells on the web somewhere...

I love steel cased MFS for my Mosin!

Don't have to deal with corrosive primers, and it beats paying $25+ a box for brass cased.

I was using corrosive primer steel casings back then...no need to pick em up,they are rusted to dirt within 10 weeks.

plus, they are good targets for .22! stick em nose down in the dirt, just up to the tapered part, then go back and plink em off! its fun at 25meters with open sights, especially standing. 50m with open sights is a challenge.
