    Well didn't have to go outland all weekend as today was a success ... 5 muskox between us, 2 caribou by my "other" brother Joseph and a few geese and ptarmigan today ... approx 160 miles round trip ... HOoly I'm beat ... I got myself a young bull this time around. Hope you folks like the pics. Cheers,

    Excuses my ignorance but the furthest north I`ve been was James Bay.
    From the pictures I see you shot a Muskox, I didn't know you had such animals in NU. How do you find them, I mean, do they travel in packs like caribous, or are they usually alone? Are they somewhat plentiful or rare? They look like an awesome bovine equivalent for all the northern people for sure, and the meat looks amazing!

    Travel in herds from small ones(dozen or so) to large ones(100 or more). They're plentiful. The meat is super lean and healthy ... GOOD stuff!
