    Savage 11/111 ... Model 11 .... Model 111

Looking for some clarity on my first hunting rifle.

Been eyeing up the Savage 11/111 based on some comments from others. When checking online stores such as Ellwood Epps they don't list a 11/111 just some as Savage 11 others as Savage 111. Is there a difference? Savage's website lists a couple of Savage 11 as youth models but the rest in either hunter, package or specialty series only list them as 11/111.

    Can anyone shed some insight?

    Thanks

Thank you. Makes sense now when I also look at calibers.

I just helped my sister and best friend each purchase Savages...
    One a model 11 7mm-08 and the other a 111 7mm Rem Mag.
Ask any question you like about the Savages and it's likely I've dug up the answer already.

    They are a terrific gun!
