We announce the finalized details to the Annual CRR Charity Shoot, fill you in on the latest RCMP gun grab and regale you with a good ole fashioned hunting story.

Also, I want to take a second and thank all the Canadian Reload Radio listeners for your support, and a big thank you to the hosts, past and current, for your efforts in helping us make a difference in the lives of Canadian gun owners, and for helping promote and grow our national organizations.

This past weekend Canada's National Firearms Association held their annual AGM & Banquet. I'd like to thank all the listeners, and hosts, past and present, for both your support, and efforts in galvanizing Canadian gun owners in their resolve for supporting their national organizations, and for promoting Canadian gun culture.

I received an award on behalf of Canadian Reload Radio, along with Brian Lilley of Sun News for "Rights in Reporting".

It was fantastic to see/meet the listeners who came out, and I hope the rest of you will set the time aside in future years to attend events like these. This was undoubtedly the most important firearm related activity in Canada you could have participated in on Saturday.

Andy, I'd suggest checking out the .223 JP Chamber Case Gauge... I was running into sizing issues with some brass fired out of other guns and when trying to reload for one of my Daniel Defense's and another custom match upper.

Initially I thought maybe the chambers were out of spec or something, I grabbed my Go & No-go headspace gauges... Both passed just fine... I tried a case gauges, stuff was fitting just fine in those... Finally, i grabbed one of these JP gauges... The cases i was having getting stuck/not chambering would not fit in the JP gauge. Next thing I did was take a newly fired case out of my match upper, tried dropping it into the JP gauge, it fit like a glove.

Anyway, now when I reload for my AR's I size and then check against my JP gauge.

Hey Dustin. Yeah, I'll have to get something I think. My first go around last summer with handloads went fine, but, I was using cases fired in my rifle. This time around it's a bit more all over the place, and, clearly, my die isn't sizing stuff all the way down it would seem...
