It's not just the dark.
It's the relative size of the fonts (message text should be larger font size, message text should be a larger proportion of the screen).

e.g. "Dewey Cox" or "RangeBob" is less important than what they say - yet the username is a larger font and occupies more space than is needed.

I would've voted but could not as I wanted to choose all 3 choices, because I'm not from the dark side, but I am a psychopath [I mean you can see my avatar] who wants choice.

I agree the font should be larger - I'm 75 with 'new C-lenses and still can't read it well. Plus the contrast with dark back and 'gray font' is POOR.
However, this is my first login for a few weeks, been away. I do like the new format aside from this visual issue. And I just posted my New2Me Stevens-66 in Rimfires, w-pics.

I completely agree. It's why i have been purposefully setting my font one size bigger.

I prefer dark modes and everything I do on any computer at home or work is in dark mode with medium grey-green background (a little lighter than GOC's background) with white text. My eyes find it a lot easier and less tiring, so when I end up with a 'standard' light mode it hurts physically. You can actually go into settings and change it, BTW.

Also, there needs to be footer signature limits. 90-95% of M1917 Enfield's posts I can find for the footer signature. Footer signatures that big should be considered spam.

I wanted to select the keep it option but I could not due to not being a psychopath. Extensive testing showed that I am capable of empathy.

It is just not my default mode apparently.
