Remember that no gun safe holds as many guns as the marketing department promises.... 8 gun = 6 at best, 14 gun = about 10, etc....

They advertise them without scopes and optics. So a 8 gun will hold 8 rifles w/o reddots or sights. But once you add a scope, you lose at least 1 extra space.. My guns are piled ontop of each other.

I want to upgrade mine to one of the carpet lined, just to keep the moisture off the guns

my 8 gun safe is currently holding 4 rifle with scope, 1 rifle without scope, 1 shotgun without scope, 1 pistol with FF3 and 1 pistol just by itself.

I can squeeze in one more rifle/shotgun with scope and 3 more pistol.
