Defence lawyer and firearms expert Solomon Friedman gives his take on the RCMP's answers to a Conservative MP about the measures taken by the authorities during the High River crisis.
"plain sight" and not answering questions that would take some effort to retrieve. There is no accountability because they are not being held accountable. As a kid I idolized these guys. Sad, sad days indeed.
I'm sure we can all appreciate jabs and jokes about law enforcement officers, but let's please not derail and degrade these threads with these types of comments. These threads are intended to keep the membership abreast of the firearms issues that concern us. Thank you.
Well the thing of it is I believe they know that as long as they don't out and out lie they really can't be held accountable for their answers anyway. So why bother. The law says they have to answer the question. The law doesn't actually say they have to answer with an answer
A very interesting video......but does anyone really expect anything different at this point from the RCMP as they have zero credibility left . Thank heavens for Solomon and Sun News for keeping this issue in the forefront .......
From my understanding it is illegal however there seems to be no consequences for not complying. Now if the Justice Dept (Federal) filed charges and someone had the opportunity to spend time in jail if convicted then things might change.
