I went looking for a first gen magpul carbine length forend. Can't find one.
Do the mlock ones sit below the rail line of a flat top? I have an eotech that's going to hang over the hand guard once I add a magnifier. An M4 style hand guard gets in the way of this. The gen 1 MOE guard seems like it would not as it has grooves in the top rear

I'm not sure about the handguard, best to search online.
