As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a busy, challenging, and ultimately rewarding year at SFRC / TheAmmoSource.com
Like many Canadian businesses, we operated this year in an environment that demanded flexibility, resilience, and constant adaptation. Supply chains continued to evolve, regulations remained complex, and consumer needs shifted. But, through it all, our focus stayed the same: providing Canadian customers with reliable access to quality products and dependable service across the outdoor and sporting communities we serve.
One of the most significant developments in 2025 was the continued expansion of our powersports product lines.
This year, we substantially grew our selection of parts and accessories for ATVs, snowmobiles, motorcycles, e-bikes, and marine applications. This expansion reflects a broader shift we’ve seen among Canadian outdoors enthusiasts - people who rely on their machines year-round for work, recreation, and exploration, and who need trusted sources for parts and accessories that perform in real Canadian conditions. Our added 'Search by Ride' feature on our web platforms has made it even easier to find everything compatible for the machines our customers own. We highly suggest checking it out.
By investing in deeper inventory and broader categories, we’re ensuring customers can find what they need in one place.
At the same time, we remained fully committed to the hunting and shooting sports communities.
Despite ongoing challenges facing the industry in Canada, we continued to stock and expand our inventory of firearms, optics, accessories, ammunition, and essential gear for licenced, responsible owners. This commitment isn’t new, but it’s never been more important.
Hunters and sport shooters rely on consistency, knowledge, and availability. In 2025, we worked hard to maintain those standards, even when market conditions made it difficult.
Fishing was another major area of growth this year.
We brought in a significant influx of new inventory tailored specifically for Canadian anglers, expanding our selection of rods, reels, tackle, and accessories across multiple species and techniques. From hardwater to open water, casual anglers to dedicated weekend warriors, we focused on ensuring our fishing customers had access to trusted brands and proven gear.
As fishing continues to grow in popularity across Canada, we’re proud to support that community with deeper selection and better availability.
What ties all of this together is a simple principle: adaptability.
2025 reinforced the importance of listening to customers, watching how Canadians actually use their gear, and responding with practical solutions - whether that’s expanding into new categories, strengthening existing ones, or investing in inventory that reflects real demand.
As we head into 2026, we’re excited to continue building on that momentum - expanding product lines, improving availability, and maintaining the level of service our customers expect from us.
