I might have to go to the bank and get someone to show me how to do this EMT thing

It is relatively easy through online banking. In the "transfers" tab you should see "interact E-transfer" once you get to the right spot it is quite straight forward.[I use scotiabank if you do not It might be slightly different but it will be along the same lines.]
