If that is true that's something that is better to not know about than to actually know about!

We can only imagine the depravity and mental issues of the type who would be one of his alleged "fans"?

I see that too. I thought having users register and have to sign in would eliminate all of those “guests”. I guess the bots are getting smarter. I do see the totals for guests are down just under half. So I guess privatizing has helped.

On a more positive note, I’m not getting kicked off like I was when the migration started. But the silly punctuation mark changes that the new server does are very annoying. Every time I post, I’m editing to make it look presentable. (Like I just did to this post.)

I see 315 guests but only 14 of them are actually *in* the forums, and all 14 of them are in the dealers forums.

The bots must be parked on the front forums list page?

Punctuation seems to be working properly the last few days, at least on my screen. Anyone noticing different?
 
Yeah, not yet Kenny. My latest post today needed editing after the fact (still).

That’s the only punctuation problem I’ve seen the last couple days. All the question marks and BS are gone from my typing. Maybe Elon tuned it up while I was using Starlink on the weekend?
 
Last few days getting "not logged in" pages when I am logged in. Refresh and I get the proper page, Sometimes multiple refreshes required.
 
The site does not recognize an apostrophe.

It does but some copy & paste don't show up properly.
 
tried to see new posts. Indicated I was not logged in though I did. Took 3 clicks on new posts to finally get new posts
 
So what was the problem with the site being offline for better part of half the day today?

Or was it only me who had connection and timeout issues?
 
No - the site was down for hours.

BTW - while investigating Idiscovered the site is hosted in San Francisco
 
Somebody attacking the site cuz all you conspiracy theorists had had too much to think.
 
Also noticed that the "New Posts" button doesn't work the same now since the site is back
 
it worked this time.

Last time I dropped in Ihad to search for this thread despite getting emails of new posts.

This site is weird but likely worth what I pay for it.
 
I just made it back to GOC after a month of not being able to log in. Every time I tried, nothing would happen. I then checked the “remember me” box and I got past the first page. Unfortunately, the site then informed me that I was banned because I was a spam account? Huh?

Oh well, it seems to have fixed itself and I can get on again. But now all of the videos are not visible. It says that they’re private. Huh?

Also, the punctuation issues are frustrating to say the least. Every time I post something, I have to go back and correct the punctuation changes the system seems to make. While there is a work around for this problem, it takes time. Especially on long posts with a lot of punctuation. (This post needed fixing.)

What’s up web-fellas?
 
Nice work around there Bob. But would you not think that this issue should be fixed properly?
