HexMags are coming to Canada

After a lot of work, I'm excited to announce that GunGear is bringing HexMag Polymer Magazines to Canada.
The unique thing about HexMag is the hexagonal pattern on the body of the mag that makes it stronger while giving the user a better grip on the mag than with standard magazines. It also feature the HexID Magazine Identification System, which has matching followers and baseplate of various colours to help quickly identify mags of different ammo types/calibre or simply pick out your mags from the other at the range.


The elephant in the room is of course PMAGS, and I'm pleased to say that independent tests have confirmed that HexMags are as robust as PMAGS and other magazines available out there.

Lol, Don't let the colours scare you, it's not like you're going to be hanging christmas lights on your gun. Its very low key, a High Visibility follower so you can easily verify empty, and a nice little dot on the bottom of the mag to allow quick ID.

And how are these going to be pinned?

Riveted, to allow easy loading of 5 rounds. We discussed with the manufacturer the possibility of a 5 rounder, similar to what they do for NY and CA but it would be cost prohibitive.

Just received shipping notification from our exporter.
Magazine should be in Canada by end of this week or early next week.
We will continue to offer the preorder discount until we receive the magazines at which point we will switch to retail pricing, so if anyone was on the fence about ordering now is the time.
