Actually the 1000 Rangefinders were reduced in price as well. They are now about 10% lower then what they were...

I guess I could shed some light here... The reason for all the price changes is for a couple reasons. Vortex Canada reset MAP pricing across the board. Most items got a bit of a price increase but the odd few items like the Rangefinder 1000, went down. Then all the discontinued items we've marked down permanently until they sell out (Viper PST, Razor Spotters, and the Tri-Pods)

I'm liking the Vortex Spar AR for my IUR.

We've had good luck with the Sparc AR, its a nicer looking unit over the older Sparc II and it works well, no issues whatsoever. The field of view isn't as big as the Aimpoints, but for the price and the warranty you can't go wrong...

No problem. Quite the opposite actually. Vortex is continuing to strengthen its position in Canada. With the release of the AMG, the Eagle Series, and now the GEN2 PST Vipers... They are going to give their competitors another run for their money. I got my hands on the GEN2 Vipers at SHOT and they are extremely nice. Honestly they look and feel like the build quality of the Razor line, and the price points are decent, $999 - $1599. I'm pretty excited about this brand right now, it fits in very well with what we do as a company...
