    Why no bolt carrier group?

Once you buy a decent one you may as well get the whole rifle as it's not much of a savings.

Not a dig against you, Ryan. just seems that Colt Canada is having a bit of difficulty figuring out their game for consumer sales...

Colt Canada isn't in the consumer sales business. These are contract overruns that have been made available to the public. They either just found these spare uppers and realized they don't have BCG made up for them (they aren't going to do small runs) or they don't want to make their FA BCG available to the public and don't want to do a small run of the SA SA20/SA15.7 BCG again. People are going to continue to complain about Colt Canada's business without realizing that they don't want or need the consumer market, and interrupting their military and other government production runs to cater to a very small niche market is a waste of their time and money. CC's products are going to come out here and there, in fits and starts, as their facilities and contracts permit. Enjoy the ride!

Damn well said and very true. These are not "DPMS" rifles so don't expect that sort of pricing nor availability. For us CC/Diemaco lovers, this is true gold.

As best as I can tell, these are overruns from the Danish military m/10 contract for 5000. I wonder exactly how many are available.

They're very pretty. I love the idea of getting an SA20 and one of the IUR uppers

Why did they shave off all the rails on the side?

Because the Dutch military told them to! It saves about a pound (iirc), makes then a bit cheaper to order en masse, and gives them a handy place to stick a QD sling swivel mount. Also, while Colt Canada may eventually make a commercial IUR, I was told that if they do they probably won't come with that flash hider nor the grenade launcher recoil lug on them. So this may be the only chance to get those features.
