They also work as straight pull actions and are spring assisted as well!

Only issue for me is the barrel length is only 16.5" and they don't accept AR-15 barrels.

The manufacturer and others in Australia make and sell AR tube butt stock adaptors and even a folding stock adaptor.

Reviews are very positive and say they are very accurate but longer barrels would help boost their performance for longer ranges.

Apparently the Aussies tried to get Troy PAR rifles after their 1996 assalt rifle ban but the police and customs said they were just the same as AR-15's and would not approve any import permits. So about 3 different manufacturers in Australia started making their own versions and this is just one of the 3 most popular local production models.

Pump action Remington sporting rifles also are very popular down there with their deer and pig hunters.
