    New sub forum?

Being a little self serving here, but...

I'm putting together an outfit to start casting my own boolits and would like to see a casting sub forum or the like added to the ammo and maintenance forum.
We have some pretty accomplished cast boolit folks here and I would like to be able to tap into their vast knowledge in one convenient location.
Den's wheel weight thread would be a good start and I'm sure there are others.

For all the traffic that the reloading section gets, could it not just go there?
Put :Cast: somewhere in the title, and it'll be easily searchable?

might be a little tough to get everyone to do that, especially new members who have no idea...
9 pages in the reloading forum right now, I expect there will be more in the years to come...

a sub forum would group everything in one place and keep the first page from ending up as all stickies...

when you go to the hardware store the fasteners are all in one section but the screws and nails aren't in the same bin with "screws" and "nails" on the tags...

Steve's bullet building threads etc would work there too.

Casting is specialized. Most of the other reloading skills are less specific or take as much experience.

            Good idea.

At this time we don't have any plans to expand our sub sections .

One of the reasons is ease of use navigation.

Not saying in the future we will not entertain the idea

umm ok...but ease of use navigation is exactly why I asked...

In the ammunition and maintenance forum we already have:
                -factory ammo
                -reloading
                -gunsmithing and cleaning

                I'm just suggesting a
                -bullet building
or similar sub forum, with the others...for ease of use navigation...

but I see your point, much easier to navigate through the whole reloading sub forum to find info on casting...
