I tried to attach a pic to a post. I used the "manage attachment" function, The new window pops up, I browse and select the pic, But the little spinny progress indicator just goes on forever.

To the OP: For an image in your computer, I think you have to host pictures on a picture hosting site? There's a Sticky in the Picture/Video forum. I think.

Yes you can upload pictures directly with our server upgrades it allowed us to give all members access to do such.

You use the advanced post settings and use the paperclip.

Now after you upload the picture if you want it as a thumbnail just hit post. But if you want a full size picture hit the down arrow on the clip again and click the picture.

Well I must be an idiot ( not the first time...). Looks like it works for other guys but I cannot get the uploader to complete. It just goes on and on and never finishes.

I tried on a completely different computer and a different pic. Still the same; uploader window comes up, I am able to browse and select a file and hit the upload button, Then it just sits there and never finishes. Waited 15 mins.
Can a Mod check to see if my user account is restricted in some way ? Thx.

No restrictions it may be due to your connection.

Went out and just tried to upload from macdonalds wifi . No dice. Also tried creating another user account. Same deal. Is it cuz we don't want your pipeline here on west coast haha ?

well most forums have some room for attachments but honestly it's much easier just to use an outside host.

Even if you don't wanna make another account.
